Certificate IV in Disability reflects the role of a disability worker undertaking tasks in various settings, including in clients’ homes and community-based settings. Students are given the skills and knowledge to provide support to clients in a manner that empowers and helps provide independence for clients. This is an excellent course for those who have a passion, drive and advocacy for those with a disability.

Entry Requirements
Prior completion of CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or CHC33015 – Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
Delivery mode and duration
Work-based and Traineeship | 10 – 12 months
Self-paced online learning using interactive eLearning content. Regular sessions with your trainer in the workplace to support your studies.
Students require a Police Check to undertake work placement (not required for students under the age of 18).

10 to 12 months
Entry requirements: Cire Training will assess prospective students’ existing skills, knowledge, and abilities (including Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) ability) and identify any specific needs to ensure that their chosen course is suitable.
*Please note that we will be transitioning CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability students into CHC43121 – Certificate IV in Disability Support qualification part way through the course. As such, students will need to meet the new entry requirements. Click Here for further information.
