Delivered as a School-Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship (SBAT), Cire Training’s CHC30221 Certificate III in School Based Education Support course is an entry-level qualification for those interested in initiating a career in educational support.
Educational Support workers handle general administrative tasks and aid operational activities. They operate under the guidance of experienced educators and showcase discretion, judgment, and compliance with established policies. This qualification focuses on developing skills for workers to effectively assist teachers and provide essential support to students in their educational journey.

Online and Workplace | 12 months part-time
Students will be supported by their Cire Trainer with regular visits to their workplace.

Eligibility and Criteria
School-based apprenticeships and traineeships (SBATs) are available to secondary school students who are over 15 years old and enrolled in the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), including the VCE Vocational Major, or the Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC).

Entry requirements: Cire Training will assess prospective students’ existing skills, knowledge, and abilities (including Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) ability) and identify any specific needs to ensure that their chosen course is suitable.
