Chirnside Park Community Hub is an impressive state-of-the-art facility which aims to empower people to learn, connect and belong.
Surrounded by parkland and within walking distance to Chirnside Park Shopping Centre and public transport, the hub is a partnership between Cire Services and Yarra Ranges Council. With an excellent reputation and proven track record, Cire operates the hub, delivering services and programs to the community and helping connect people of all ages, background and interests.
To ensure we are meeting community need, we welcome suggestions and ideas about activities, services and programs. Volunteers are always welcome.
Cire is an active member of Neighbourhood Houses Victoria (NHV) and the Yarra Ranges Neighbourhood Group.

Chirnside Park Community Hub has rooms for hire on a on-off or more regular basis at very competitive rates.
Our rooms are excellently appointed with facilities including telecommunications, overhead projector, whiteboard; printing and fax services; heating and air conditioning; tea and coffee making facilities; ample off street parking.
We are also a perfect venue for business/social gatherings and celebrations such as first birthday parties. Please note that bookings must be made well in advance to avoid disappointment.
The Maternal and Child Health Service is run by Yarra Ranges Council to provide information and support to new parents and families.
Nurses are qualified in general nursing, midwifery and family and child health and offer health and development checks, support and advice for mothers and children from birth to six years of age.
The service offers 10 key age and stage development consultations: a home visit; then at the Chirnside service at 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 4 months, 8 months, 12 months, 18 months, 2 years and 3.5-4 years.

introduction to solid food and general nutrition
information on childhood illness
guidance on the prevention of childhood injury
advice on sleeping and settling
behaviour management and positive parenting.
